Dear Fellow Music Lovers,

Cellist Yeeun Heo completes the group as it continues its world-spanning tours. To purchase tickets online go to the Tickets tab. The 2025 Season of six fabulous concerts has started with a bang!
An Evening of Dixieland Jazz with The Boilermaker Jazz Band was very crowded in both venues. The band has been performing swing and hot jazz worldwide for over 30 years. Their enthusiastic performances from the Great American Songbook made our audience to clap, tap and sing. We all wanted to dance in the aisles.
At the second concert we witnessed extraordinary performances of Chelea Guo, Soprano and José Luis Maldonado, baritone with Bénédicte Jourdois, pianist in Concert of Famous Opera Highlights. The spine-tingling music performed by these amazing artists included famous arias and duets from La Traviata, The Barber of Seville, Carmen, and musicals Carousel and Oklahoma.
For the third week of the season one of our favorite musicians – pianist Frederick Moyer was back. The program included Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 (with recorded orchestra), Debussy’s Claire de Lune, and works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Liszt.
Last week concerts featured an inimitable ensemble Trio Zimbalist. The members are distinguished alumni of the Curtis Institute of Music, sought-after soloists, performing around the world. The trio played the Arensky Piano Trio No. 1, the Ravel Piano Trio in A minor and more.
This week Pianist George Li played Beethoven, Debussy and Mussorgsky for us. Gearge Li won a silver medal at the International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition, the most highly regarded competition in the world. Many people regarded the concert as the best of the season so far!
We look forward to seeing you at our concerts!
The spirit of giving and a community of generosity are what makes this organization so special. In 1969 we began with just four concerts in Marathon. Through the years, volunteers and supporters have helped us grow to twelve dazzling performances, split between two venues. Our world-class Steinway Concert Grand piano in Marathon elevated the performances to an extraordinary level! We yearn to create the same captivating concert experience for our Upper Keys patrons. Thus, we started a fundraiser to acquire another nine-foot Steinway Concert Grand Piano for the Upper Keys Venue. Please see the campaign details here.
To help this cause, the Board of Directors has decided to demonstrate for our Upper Keys Patrons the difference between our current six-foot Petrof piano and a nine-foot Steinway concert grand piano at the last two 2024 Upper Keys concerts. The Steinway company has graciously loaned us a piano. Trio Con Brio Copenhagen pianist Jens Elvekjaer agreed to start the performances by playing the same music pieces on both instruments. See how Jens Elvekjaer demonstrated the pianos singing tones’ and the volumes’ differences here.
Artists, dates and venues are subject to change.

Our low ticket price means our performances are accessible to a wide audience, but unfortunately that also means our ticket sales don’t come close to covering the cost of bringing national and international artists to the Keys-even with our passionate volunteers making sure that 100 per cent of our revenues go toward that goal.
