To help this cause, the Board of Directors has decided to demonstrate for you the difference between our current six-foot Petrof piano and a nine-foot Steinway concert grand piano. The Steinway company has graciously loaned us a piano, and TRIO CON BRIO COPENHAGEN’s pianist Jens Elvekjaer  will start the performance by playing the same music piece(es) on both instruments.

This delightful piano trio is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was formed in 1999 and consists of the Danish pianist Jens Elvekjaer and the South Korean sisters Soo-Jin Hong (violin) and Soo-Kyung Hong (cello). Recognized as one of the world’s finest piano ensembles, they are not only touring performing artists, but also esteemed recording artists, artistic directors, and educators.
