FLORIDA KEYS CONCERT ASSOCIATION 

EDUCATION:                             

“…to foster and encourage appreciation of music and the teaching of:

• music history
• music appreciation

in the schools of Marathon and its surrounding area…” 
Article II no.4 of the Florida Keys Concert Association Constitution
The Association actively supports Education:

SCHOLARSHIP:

• Since 2003, FLKCA has given a $1000 scholarship
• to a graduating senior
• who plans to pursue a college or university degree in music or the “arts”-theater, dance.

 Applications to:

• Ms Robin Lynne,  College and Career Counselor at Marathon High School, 305-289-2480 ext 55307.

Process: 

• Interviews by the FLKCA Scholarship Committee
• two selections at the interview
• Recipient announced at  High School Class Night  .
• Required:  submit a final report on their college experience at the end of the first year 

Previous recipients have attended: 

• Florida State University,
• Florida Atlantic University,
• University of Central Florida
• New World School of the Arts.
